Emergency Evacuation Drill
In order to enhance the emergency response and safety awareness of all teachers and students, the Primary School Department conducted an earthquake prevention and disaster reduction emergency evacuation drill on May 12th. At 8.30 A.M., the alarm sounded. All teachers and students quickly bent over and covered their noses, evacuating along the emergency evacuation route in an orderly manner. The entire process was fast, standardized, and calm, which took about 3 minutes for all the teachers and students to safely reach the designated assembly point. After counting the number of people, there were no missing individuals.
Overall, before the drill, the department clearly defined the evacuation procedures and safety points, with each class carrying out relevant safety education as required. After the drill, the key points were summarized during the morning meeting to enhance students' safety awareness. Therefore, this drill tested Anqing Foreign Language School's emergency response capabilities, enabling teachers and students to master the skills of avoiding risks and escaping proficiently, thus laying a solid foundation for strengthening the campus safety defense line.
